Its beautiful deep purple leaves have a fringy edge and wrinkly texture. Delivers strong, sweet flavor with notes of anise and cinnamon. Pale pink flowers contrast nicely with the dark leaves, making it a unique and lovely filler in flower bouquets. Minimum of 400 mg per packet (about 300 seeds).
• Productive - Purple Ruffles Basil germinates in 5-10 days when soil temps are 65-70°F. Plant 1/4” deep and space 8-12” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 18-24”. This variety will mature in 65-90 days, but you can begin to harvest when your plant has 3 or 4 sets of leaves. Plant in USDA Zones 9-12.
