While many irises are grown from bulbs, they can also be grown from seed. Minimum 750 mg per packet (about 85 seeds).
• Productive - Blue Iris germinates in 28-35 days when soil temps are 70-75°F. Plant 1/8” deep and space 12” apart in an area with full sunlight. This variety will grow 3-6’ tall with a spread of 1-1.5’. Flowers will bloom on the second year after sowing. Plant in USDA zones 5-9.
