About This
- Versatile Red Clover - Red Clover, sometimes called wild clover or purple clover, is a biennial or short-lived perennial with globe-shaped lavender to pinkish-purple flowers that bloom in spring and are highly attractive to bees. Its compound leaf has three leaflets The pretty blossoms are also used as a medicinal herb, usually as tea. It supports women's health, cardiovascular well-being, digestion, respiratory issues, and skin health.
- Vigorous Plants - In USDA Zones 2-9, sow outdoors in late summer or early fall for blooms in late spring after winter dormancy. Red Clover can also be planted in spring, but hot weather may prevent flowers from emerging. Broadcast evenly over loose soil, then rake to cover. Seeds germinate in 7-21 days once soil temperatures reach 60-70° F. Keep evenly watered for lush growth. Each packet contains approximately 4400 to 5300 seeds.
- Sustainable Living - Cultivating a plot of Red Clover helps promote a self-reliant lifestyle. This incredibly helpful plant has many uses around the homestead: as a medicinal herb, food crop, ground cover, erosion control, and more. It is popular as a drought-resistant, shade-tolerant lawn replacement or addition, and can be used as a food plot for cows, deer, buffalo, and other livestock.
- The Info You Need to Grow - The seeds are packed in a beautiful paper packet with instructions for successful growing and germination in your home garden. Each package also has instructions for saving seeds after harvest. Getting started is simple for both beginner and experienced gardeners.
